貫鐵 KANTETSU (Carry Out)

The Japanese idiom Shoshikantetsu sums up our entire vision. Since our inception, we have maintained our commitment to iron based on a motto of “good faith, patience, and effort”, to emerge as the steel processing specialist that is Mishina Matsubishi. In the future we will continue this unchanging commitment to steel, which we hope will lead to new developments. All of this is part of our “Commitment”.

Creating the most user-friendly steel for every application.

No metal is as versatile as steel. Even steels made from the same materials are processed into different forms using different methods, depending on the final application. Still, steel plates and coils produced by steel manufacturers have become mass produced, standardized commodities. That’s why we reroll steel plates and coils for automobile manufacturers etc., in the amount demanded, and at the desired thickness. But it’s not just a matter of changing the thickness. Our core technology is “refinement”. For example, in the creation of a 6mm thick steel plate, the metal structure of the finished product will be completely different depending on the thickness of the plate from which it is rolled, and the temperature transition and timing of annealing. We provide steel materials to our customers in a form that is easy to manipulate, and contribute to a reduction of waste by reducing cutting/polishing through increased efficiency in production.

A company with rare technologies, a rare position.

Even in Japan there are few companies that actually specialize in rerolling processing, but companies that are capable of rerolling both steel plates and coils like us are even rarer. Naturally, our many years of accumulated technology are a great strength, along with our cooperative relationships with other steel manufacturers in sharing information and requirements. In addition to mass produced products, we receive many requests for customized products that demand a high degree of precision from manufacturers such as automobile manufacturers looking to create new prototypes etc. In fact, it is not uncommon for the development engineers from auto manufacturers to directly visit our plants so that they can share their detailed needs with our own engineers and watch the processing carried out in front of them. Because we are not a large company, we have the perfect scale to provide maneuverability, making it possible for us to meet customer needs that involve a high degree of difficulty. For customers in Europe, with his experience in business in Europe, our CEO Yasuhito Mishina is able to get directly involved in negotiations.
